Why we process data
We use data to fulfil your order, provide customer service, meet statutory record-keeping duties, ensure security and, only with consent, for optional marketing.
Chat and improvement
The BaitFever assistant uses your message to respond. Only with separate consent do we retain a sanitised version of the question, answer and limited conversation context for quality review. Identifiable details such as email address, order number, postcode and house number, phone number and payment details are removed. The review version is deleted automatically after no more than 30 days.
Confirmed account changes
When you ask the assistant to update a phone number, we first verify your order. The change is only made after your explicit confirmation. We send confirmation to the verified customer account email and retain a limited audit record with status and pseudonymised hash references, without the phone number itself.
Who data is shared with
We only share what is necessary with providers that enable the webshop, payment, hosting or delivery. Each party processes data according to its role and privacy obligations.
Retention periods
We do not retain data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a statutory duty requires longer retention.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your data and object to certain processing. Contact us; we may first need to verify your identity.
